Wide Applicability

CS-818 can be used to various antennas, such as dipole antennas, vertical antennas, directional antennas, G5RV, OCF, Cobra, etc. It covers a frequency range of 1.8 to 54MHz and can tune impedance from 5 to 500 ohms.

CS-818 supports RF power from 0.5 to 30W and is compatible with SSB, CW, AM, FM, and digital modes, suitable for various QRP transceivers

Intelligent Tuning

CS-818 adoptd an intelligent tuning algorithm, which can complete tuning action in a few seconds and automatically record tuning parameters to achieve fast and accurate tuning.

'One-Touch Tuning’can be achieved when CS-818 is used with Yaesu FT-817/818 station. The user only needs to press the tuning button, and the CS-818 will control the transceiver to enter PKT mode, transmit a carrier, tune the antenna, and exit PKT mode, and the whole process is automatically completed. Tuning has never been this easy!

Convenient Interaction

CS-818 is equipped with a 1.3-inch high-brightness OLED display, which remains visible even in outdoor settings. With menu buttons, it can quickly switch views and change Settings.

With a standing wave meter and power meter function, it can synchronously display SWR and forward power. It can also show matching network structures and parameters.

Introduction

CS-818 is an antenna tuner, operates on 1.8~54MHz,with Yaesu FT818/817 integration, it controls the tuning process for FT818/817 with the CAT cable supplied with the unit. For other radios, CS-818 is used as a regular tuner.

CS-818 features a 1.3”O-led display indicating the SWR and Power input readings. That means it can be used not only as a tuner but also as a SWR meter, and a Power meter.

With its compact size(145mm x 115mm x 36mm, 0.5kg) and 50 hours battery life, CS-818 perfectly fits into QRP and portable usage though.

CS-818's featured latching relays makes ultra-low power consumption possible. Even if the unit is turned off after tuning, the latching relays still hold their positions, thus your CS-818 is still working!

Alternatively, the unit can also be charged/powered through a 13.8v DC, or even simply a USB 5V Type-C power supply(your powerbank for instance).

The firmware of CS-818 is upgrade-able, users can always upgrade their firmwares by themselves once we have a new version of firmware.
